Làm như thế này bác ơi.
1. Down Rom trên site của Acer về, chạy đến bước hiện ra chữ FINISH thì đừng bấm tiếp mà dừng lại chuyển sang bước sau. Nhớ không được đóng chương trình mà vân phải để nguyên.
2. Vào run gõ %temp% để vào thư mục Temp của hệ thống
3. Copy 02 file: temp.bin và USBDLUpdate_Console.exe sang chỗ khác.
4. Sau đó copy 03 file EUUs.exe ( bác Phạm Quang đã up) và temp.bin; USBDLUpdate_Console.exe trong ROM mình cần up vào thư mục Temp
5. Chạy EUUs.exe và theo các bước của nó là OK

Notices of upgrading:
1. Download the ROM image update software to a directory on your hard drive.
2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions to unpacking the ROM Update files to a directory.
3. Please check that you have installed ActiveSync in your host PC.
4. Put your E-TEN Pocket PC on the cradle and establish an Activesync connection between your Pocket PC and host PC through the USB connection.
5. Please check AC Adapter is always connecting with cradle to make the POWER supply enough for the upgrading process.
6. Important: Please backup all of your Pocket PC data to the PC, included PIM, programs and the data on FlashDisk ... etc.
7. Execute the <ROM image update software name>.exe file in the directory created in step 2 above to begin the upgrade process and follow the instructions displayed by the ROM Upgrade Utility.
8. If an error message is displayed during the update process, please check above steps and follow any available instructions to correct the condition. Then start the update utility again.
9. If you have any questions of the upgrading, please contact the distributors or retailers where you bought the PDA from to get the timely support, or Technical Inquiry.

Quan trọng là bạn chọn đúng bản ROM gốc tiếng anh là OK. Chú ý có sự phân biệt khi up bằng Tool của Eten và Acer cho DX900.

Bạn theo link này - ngay bài 1, down cái Tool đó về rồi theo hướng dẫn là OK. Đây là tool dùng để cross language, nó không cần phân biệt Acer hay Eten - chơi được tuốt. Mình đã dùng cái này sau khi đã thử đủ các cách trên PDAViet.
Tool của Man PhamQuang dùng tốt, nhưng chỉ trong trường hợp Eten mà thôi. Các Rom Acer mình chạy không được.
Riêng Tool trên thì chạy được hết, thậm chí chuyển đổi ngôn ngữ từ CHN sang WWE, sang ARAB cũng được luôn.

Copy bài hướng dẫn từ Forum ETEN

Instructions:

1. On your PC: Download the DX900 EUUS file
2. On your PC: Download the ROM which you like to install
3. DX900: Make sure your device battery is fully charged
4. DX900: Take out your memory card and sim card(s)
5. PC/DX900: Connect using ActiveSync in guest mode (delete your prior pairing)
6. PC/DX900: Follow installation procedure, but DO NOT click finish!
7. On your PC: Hit the start button from the task bar and chose run, type %temp% and hit ok
8. On your PC: If step 7 doesn't work, look for the directory: C:\documents and settings/users/xx(xx=your computer/ name)/local settings/temp
9. On your PC: Make sure you unhide any hidden files (map options)
10. On your PC: Copy temp.dat file and USBDLUpdate_Console.exe file to other location
11. On your PC: Now hit finish from step 3, but do not close the application
12. On your PC: Copy DX900_euus.exe, temp.dat and USBDLUpdate_Console.exe to the temp dir
13. On your PC: Run DX900_euus.exe and do the normal update as the program says (hit confirm on your device)
14. PC/DX900: After step 13, while running the update, do not touch the screen. It needs about 5minutes or more....
15. All done

Quan trọng nhất là Tool DX900_EUUs.exe đưa kèm dưới đây nhé.
Các bước khá rõ ràng, tôi nghĩ là các bạn sẽ Up được ROM thôi.

Ước gì có 1 bản ROM 6.1 cho DX900 Made in PV, ROM cho dòng này chưa có sản phẩm nào của PV cả. Mình không phải dân kỹ thuật nên không rành chuyện cook ROM, có bác nào biết cook cho anh em 1 bản thì hay quá.
Dòng DX900 này trên thế giới cũng ít cooked ROM, quanh đi quanh lại cũng chỉ có ROM của Bruno Martin và oldSap, vẫn còn nhiều bug quá.
